The Manchester Flower Festival is a celebrated annual event that brings together the beauty of florals and the vibrant spirit of Manchester. This year, Selfridges elevated the festival experience by taking over Exchange Square, transforming it into a bustling hub of food, drink, and entertainment. A central feature of this transformation was the live entertainment from local DJs, presented in partnership with Reform Radio. Our company was honored to provide the DJ equipment and sound system, ensuring that the music became a highlight of the festival. Our primary objectives were to enhance the festival atmosphere, support local talent, and ensure the smooth technical operation of the event. To achieve these goals, we embarked on a detailed planning process, starting with an in- depth consultation with Selfridges and Reform Radio. Understanding their vision and specific requirements was crucial in selecting the right equipment and setup.

For this event, we provided industry-standard Pioneer DJ controllers and mixers, a Pioneer DJM900 Nexus 2 and 2 Pioneer CDJ200NXS2 DJ Decks, known for their reliability and versatility among professional DJs. High-powered, weather-resistant JBL VRX932LA speakers, were selected to deliver consistent sound, while Crown XTi 4000 amplifiers and JBL VRX 918S subwoofers enhanced the bass and QSC K10 Active loudspeakers maintained overall audio quality. The DJ entertainment provided by local DJs was a major highlight of the Selfridges Exchange Square takeover. Their iconic hits created a lively and enjoyable atmosphere, significantly contributing to the overall success of the event. The high-quality sound system played a crucial role in this, helping to attract festival- goers and keep them engaged. Positive feedback from both Selfridges and Reform Radio highlighted our professionalism and the quality of our equipment and support.
